One of the things you just end up doing the further your passion takes you into Great Danes is the Therapy involved with Great Danes that need the Tender Loving Care. This year we met more fantastic Doctors and Licensed Professionals who love Great Danes as much as we do. Now we have been friends with Dr. Robin Goldstein for at least ten years and when you meet him you realize that he is like your fishing buddy, or your bingo pal that's how he relates to his clients and patients. The dog knows he is a friend instinctively. This year we met Dr. Grigory Brodetsky, and Dr. Fenella Ely and we are so blessed to have met these wonderful friends. We are now able to treat Great Danes with therapy for a variety of Great Dane specific health issues because the expertise of these fine professionals is available and affordable. Dr. Fenella Ely is a chiropractor who treats horses and dogs, and occasionally humans too. Dr. Ely is treating one of our families Danes that suffered a spine Trauma this year with the assistance of Dr. Brodetsky. The progress this Great Dane has made raises the hair on the back of your neck and a tear to your eyes. We started this dog in the fetal position on a waterbed and carried it out to have bowel movement and return to the bed. Over the weeks of treatment and therapy here at the Dane Ranch, and the combined efforts of these fine three doctors, this Great Dane went from a very injured dog that could not walk to a dog that is walking better and better and has begun to run again. I just cant emphasis enough how important it is to establish relationships with good doctors. Dr. Goldstein is a family doctor operating his practice Markham Road Animal Hospital and is this Danes family doctor. Dr. Grigory Brodetsky is a mobile vet that treats our Danes on site here at the Dane Ranch, and Dr. Fenella Ely is a chiropractor practicing from her clinic on Byron Street in Whitby.
